Peak Half Marathon Series

The arrangements for the 2015 season will be made available as soon as they have been finalised.

‘39 miles, 3500 feet of ascent, and some of the biggest hills in English road running’

The Peak Half Marathon Series will bring together three of the toughest, hilliest Half Marathon events in a single competition (Eyam, Leek, Ashbourne)

For 2015, we intend that to include an individual event and one or two additional races. Individual results from local half marathons have been monitored this year in order to ensure that an individual scoring system works properly.

The team scoring system is designed to include scores from all participants from a team. The last person in the race will still score points for their team just by being there, though it will still be possible to win the series by having a few runners at the head of the field.

Entry: For your club to enter the series all you need to do is make sure that all your runners put their club affiliation down on the relevant entry forms. There is no additional fee. Ashbourne Running Club undertook the administration of this Challenge in 2014.
