The Eyam Half Marathon is a single loop circuit which is run entirely on the road surface. The course passes through the hamlets of Bretton and Abney, skirts around Eyam Moor, and returns to Eyam via Sir William Hill. The race involves an accumulated ascent of over 1,200 feet (366 metres).

Around 500 entrants are expected to tackle this challenging event which is organised under British Athletics rules.
